Amazon Live is a livestream based e-commerce platform where brands can partner with celebrity influencers to showcase their favorite products, while offering consumers a seamless and interactive approach to online shopping.

As Creative Director, I led a team of 8 designers and oversaw the rebranding, design and production of all graphic packages for our livestream programs and special events (Prime Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday), from start to completion.

Weekly deliverables included livestreams branding, desktop and mobile digital assets, on air graphics, paid and organic social media, in and out-of-house marketing collateral, Fire TV graphic packages as well as motion graphics for experiential events.

Under my leadership, the graphics department successfully created and delivered design packages for over 800 shows annually.

Slate design

The slates occupy a crucial space on the platform. They drive engagement on the Amazon Live homepage, the Amazon Live app as well as Fire TV and Prime Video. They are shown at the start of each show and guide the design for the rest of the marketing assets. Here are a some examples.

Today’s Deal Rebrand

Today’s Deal Live is one of Amazon Live top performing shows on the platform. The previous branding posed a couple of issues, The product featured on the slates were stock sourced and did not represent the deals being offered on the program accurately. The new design had to be quickly customizable to accommodate graphics needs for the shows being streamed daily with adequate flexibility.

The solution: a grid layout allowing the design team to quickly swap out the product images, along with an evolving color palette to emphasize seasonal themes.

Automotive

Automotive brands frequently partnered with Amazon Live to bring added excitement to the launch of their new vehicles. The Corvette launch featured below was the second most watched livestream event that year.

Imagine Dragons

Amazon Music regularly partners with Amazon Live to showcase live performances from today’s biggest artists. These are assets I delivered for one of our most watched live events, featuring the band Imagine Dragons.
